7th ANNUAL HWYRT CRANKLE 2K!:
7:00pm • friday
Millinocket Marathon & Half Finish Line, 33 Penobscot Avenue, Millinocket, ME 04462
It’s time once again to run a short race in the cold, pitch black of night through the center of town for the epic 2023 running of the Crankle 2K!!! Founded by Bryan and Peter of the amazingly popular running/humor Podcast How Was Your Run Today? Although Bryan and Peter won’t be making the trek north this year, they will be there in spirit!
We will be assembling at 7PM on Friday at the finishing line (near the logging trucks) on Penobscot Avenue. There are only three rules: 1) Come in costume. Costumes are cool. 2) Remember that this is an unsupported, unsanctioned, and clearly ill-advised shake-out run and you must take responsibility for your own safety! 3) In lieu of a registration fee, please take a moment to make a donation to support the Millinocket Marathon & Half. None of us would be able to take part in any of the amazing activities during race weekend without their herculean efforts. 100% of the funds raised stay in the town and are donated to local organizations and charities who need a hand.
